WOD: MAGNANIMOUS


Magnanimous - courageously noble in heart and mind. Having, or showing generosity, often in the context of being forgiving. (especially to a rival or to smb less powerful)

Ex: The king should be magnanimous in victory


According to Oxford Dictionary, the origin of this word is in the Latin word  magnanimus (from magnus 'great' + animus 'soul')  + -ous
